Fenno is a very un-English sounding name, and I've always wondered about its origin. The name is concentrated in Milton and Dorchester in the 1600s, but it's always stuck me as maybe German or Scandinavian in origin. Perhaps there's an interesting story there. (I looked in Savage's Dictionary and he has no entry for Fenno, which is also a bit surprising.)

Wasn't Fenno the little-known fifth Marx Brother?
