The KJV doesn't seem to have Y names — it renders them all as Js or Es.

As someone who comes from a long line of Zechariahs, I appreciate the Z's.

Another good z-name is Zabdiel. There was a prominent Zabdiel Boylston in early Boston, and his name was taken by many relatives or admirers:

If you're looking for a good book, I love Jennifer Lee Carrell's The Speckled Monster, which is about smallpox inoculations and features Zabdiel Boylston. It's sort-of-kind-of fiction — enhanced nonfiction, shall we say. But it's a great read.
