That is a very fancy stone. I imagine a work like that would take many, many hours to create. Fifty, one hundred hours, more? The flowers in the "corners" and the scrolled leaves, for lack of a better term, are beautifully done. It's also the first I've seen with a frame. I wonder, generally speaking, are the decorations based on medieval designs or are they from the early Renaissance? The leaves seem classical.

I meant early Renaissance as in England, where it came late.
