What's the Nickname for "Recompense"?

Declension narratives are usually wrong but I'm ready to write my own: 17th-century Boston names are much better than 18th-century names. The Boston town records show only four children born in the town in 1630. They are:
Joy Milles
Recompence Milles
Pittie Baulstone
Increase Nowell

That's an excellent ratio of interesting names to boring names. After all, I had to read almost a decade's worth of records to come up with this list.
