Back from Acadia

Some pictures below the fold, mostly for the benefit of any parents who may be reading this blog.

When we first arrived, everything looked like this:

It was very windy.

Then, the sun came out and there was much rejoicing.

But it was still pretty windy.

We walked on the beach . . .

. . . and in the woods.

We hiked up to the top of a mountain — I promise that there is a steep valley between the rock we're standing on and the mountain behind us.

And that was our trip to Acadia National Park.
